Where It Is Used

  • Cartons, totes, bins, pallets and drums with flat, rigid bottoms — sorting, buffering, merging and diverting in warehouses, distribution and e-commerce.
  • Manufacturing and assembly transfer, picking and work stations.
  • Full-case and full-pallet food, beverage and daily-chemical conveying.
  • Logistics nodes: zero-pressure accumulation, alignment, turntables and 90-degree transfers; heavy pallet work in and out of storage.

Key Features

  • Simple, modular construction — easy to extend, re-route or relocate; gravity sections are cost-effective for picking and decline.
  • Zero-pressure accumulation with zoned control (for example 24V drives) for buffering and merging.
  • High pallet-class load capability in heavy-duty versions.
  • Roller pitch and diameter are chosen to the product; denser rollers suit smaller items.
  • Maintenance points are concentrated: rollers, bearings and drive chains or belts are replaced individually.

Selection Notes

  • Requires flat, rigid bottoms — soft bags, dished bottoms and small unpalletised items jam or fall; use support plates, denser rollers or a belt.
  • Small items fall between rollers, so the pitch must be smaller than the smallest product.
  • Standard powered rollers are not for inclines; heavy pallet rollers allow only slight grades.
  • Curves usually cannot accumulate: accumulation pressure pushes products off the edge.
  • Heavy, impact, wet or wash-down duties need sealed bearings and corrosion protection — indoor rollers are not for wash-down.
