Where It Is Used

• Cartons, parcels, bags, loose pieces, food materials and products, fruit and vegetables, and electronic parts.
• Flat-bottomed or supported products; soft packaging and bags are also carried.
• Heavy rubber belts move ore, building materials and grain in dedicated heavy-duty designs.

• A continuous flat belt surface — friendlier to small items and soft packaging than rollers.
• Simple structure, low cost and smooth running: flexible lengths, horizontal or gentle incline, easy to link upstream and downstream.
• Belt materials and patterns are selectable — PVC/PU/rubber, smooth, chevron, cleated or skirted for grip, incline, food or wear duty.
• Guides, cleats, sidewalls, scrapers and metal detectors can be added for finished-line work.

Selection Notes

• Flat belts incline only gently — beyond the material's friction angle products roll back; cleats extend the range but not without limit.
• Belt mistracking is the common issue: tracking, tension and pulley alignment need attention, and edge damage or splice cracking means stopping.
• PVC/PU belts have temperature and oil limits; high-temperature, oily or sharp materials need other belt types.
• Food-contact belts need the specific grade's declaration of compliance — not every PVC/PU belt is food-grade.
• Fine powder and sticky material build up on the belt; scrapers, cleaning and edge seals are needed, and long or heavy runs require proper calculation.
