Where It Is Used

  • High-temperature baking, frying, quenching and sintering lines — tunnel ovens, fryer lines and heat-treatment lines.
  • Heavy castings, stampings, forgings and metal parts in washing, quenching, tempering and coating.
  • Small or easily rolled products that need even pitch and synchronised conveying.
  • Low-friction duties — cooking oil, quench liquid, wet or slippery environments; also food blanching, cooling, freezing and washing where material and mesh type suit.

Key Features

  • Positive sprocket drive with even pitch — suited to synchronised or indexing runs, long distances, heavy loads and inclines.
  • Chains take the tension while the mesh carries the product: open for air and water, strong for heavy duties.
  • Handles oil, quench liquid and slippery duties where friction-driven belts slip.
  • Metal mesh types — balanced, compound-balanced and close weaves — are chosen for support, airflow and cleaning.

Selection Notes

  • Chain-edge belts are normally straight-running; curves and spirals need dedicated turning belts.
  • Chains need lubrication and tension; high-temperature duties need high-temperature chain and material solutions.
  • Small items can still fall through mesh openings — choose the mesh, or add edge guards and dividers (with cost and cleaning trade-offs).
  • Heavy and high-temperature versions are heavy themselves: drive power, frame strength, foundations and service space must be checked, not just belt width.
  • Food-contact duties are confirmed per project: material, surface, lubricant, cleaning validation and documents.
